kele Contracting Sponsors Synergos

A global philanthropic programme to help support regional social entrepreneurs

Kele Contracting has sponsored three Synergos Arab World Innovators as part of Kele’s on-going CSR “company initiative” to increase its role in supporting regional communities in the Arab worldy.
This is the second time that Kele sponsors a similar charitable cause, the first time sponsoring Lebanese innovators Paul Abi Rached and Kamal Mouzawak. Support was provided in the form of training, mentoring, facilitating connections to business’ and financial awards for these innovators. Each sponsorship donation is for the period of one year, and this year Kele has chosen to help with three worthy initiatives. The first being “Donner Sang Compter”, an initiative to raise awareness about voluntary blood donation across Lebanon. The second an economical and environmentally friendly waste management organization “Cedar Environmental” and an initiative designed to teach development and career skills to children from various orphanages known as “The Big Brother Initiative”.

The Arab World Social Innovators (AWSI) program aims to increase the scale and sustainability of successful initiatives that bring social and economic change to underprivileged communities. Launched by Synergos, a global philanthropic organization, in 2008, the program selects and supports exceptional grassroot leaders, providing them with tailored services to enhance their leadership and expand the impact of their programs. By sponsoring the Arab World Social Innovators Program, Kele Contracting will invest into an effective model to support and strengthen local social entrepreneurs in Lebanon. The AWSI program is achieving sustainable change by empowering local leaders and organizations, building relationships of trust, and strengthening the capacity of institutions to anticipate and respond to challenges faced by their communities.
